Colombo, June 17 (BAN/ AD): MP Sarath Fonseka has said that despite the opposition from several parties the investigations of the Parliamentary Select Committee it would continue as it was appointed by the parliament itself. He mentioned that the PSC has rights to unearth any misconduct by the authorities which led to the disastrous 4/21 attacks. He went on to note that it was those who ignored their duties who are against the committee as it would reveal their weaknesses.
He mentioned that the individual elected in the upcoming presidential election should work for benefit of nation. He accepted that the nation did not move forward on last 5 years and the citizens of the country should be wise enough to elect right person.
