Colombo, Jun 13 (BAN/CD): Prime Minister Ranil Wickremsinghe has condemned the remarks of former Easter Province governor M.L.M Hisbullah.
The former governor reportedly said that Muslims are a majority in the world and they shouldn’t have to live in a country in fear. He also used inflammatory language, according to sources.
The Prime Minister condemned his remarks when he met representatives of civil society organizations at Temple Trees.
He further said that everyone should identify themselves as Sri Lankans.
