Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina leaves Dhaka for London on an official visit

Dhaka, July 19 (BAN/ AD): PM has left to London for on official visit today morning. PM will be attending a conference of Bangladeshi envoys to Europe. A Biman Bangladesh Airlines VVIP flight took off from Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 9:30am on Friday.

The dignataries present at airport to see her off included Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozamsmel Haque, Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, PM’s Adviser HT Imam, Jatiya Sangsad Chief Whip Noor-e-Alam Chowdhury Liton, State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Mahbub Ali, and State Minister for Religion Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah, Also the chiefs of Bangladesh Army and Bangladesh Navy, the acting chief of the Bangladesh Air Force, the dean of the diplomatic corps, the British high commissioner to Bangladesh and high civil and military officials were also present.

PM will be received by Saida Muna Tasnim Bangladesh High Commissioner in London at the airport.

Ihsanul Karim PM’s Press Secretary said “During the visit, the prime minister will attend a Conference of Bangladeshi Envoys in Europe in the British capital on July 20.”

PM will be returning on August 5th after receiving eye treatment in London.
