Colombo, June 14 (BAN/ AD): Australia has issued renewed travel advisory for Sri Lanka. As per new travel advisory Australian citizens are required to ‘exercise a high degree of caution’.
After deadly Easter Sunday attacks which killed around 258 and wounded several people including many foreigners Australia had warned against traveling to Sri Lanka. However, the Australia Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has lowered its level of travel advice for Sri Lanka.
As per statement issued by Australia Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade “Pay close attention to your personal security at all times. Monitor the media and other sources about safety and security risks.”
Several countries have issued travel advisory to its citizens post terrorist attacks.
